Due to the development of modernization, ethnic minority areas made some conflicting to the modernization in the inheritance of traditional culture.From the overall,this kind of change is an inevitable and irreversible historical process. It weakened the original thing of the traditional culture. In particular, the young keep away from their own native culture gradually when they accepted the modern baptism.This writer selected several families of the Star Village, which is a localities of Shui nationality in Dushan County, Guizhou Province. This anthropology recorded the current situation, which is about the young who are out-migrantion for work and the old who are still staying home. The main location is the Star Village and Anji(it's the young people's working place). It will reflect the conflict of the two generations through traditional festival from the anthropology.In the paper, the introduction part mainly introduces the thesis's reason, meaning and theoretical basis, which is anthropology. The first chapter expounds the movie from three aspects of thesis, significance, and detailed creation. The second chapter analyzes the movie's artistic style from its characters intro, narrative perspective and narrative structure. The third chapter focused on analyzing the movie's technique of expression from its audio-visual performance. The fourth chapter emphasizes on the summary of the experience and reflection.Through the creation of the anthropology documentary, the purpose of this paper is to investigate the culture conflict with ethnic traditional culture and modern culture.It aims to make the audience experience the characters' psychological feelings, and think about the theme of how to balance the traditional and modern culture.
