Research On The Protection And Utilization Of Important Agricultural Cultural Heritage In China

In 2002, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations launched the project of "Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems", which aimed to discover and protect the traditional agricultural heritage. After then , all countries began to discover and protect their own agricultural heritage. China, of course, is also included. In China, the Ministry of Agriculture named the traditional agricultural heritage as "Chinese Important ingenious agricultural heritage". With the assessment work carried out, the Ministry of agriculture has selected three batch of a total of 62 important ingenious agricultural heritage around the country. More and more attention has been paid to the protection and development of these agricultural heritage. It means that the "Chinese Important ingenious agricultural heritage" has been more and more valuable.Author chooses the "Important ingenious agricultural heritage" as the research object. In the regional distribution, it is distributed throughout the country, but mostly in the East of China. In the type of farming, it includes agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishing. In addition,11 agricultural heritages have been assessed the"Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems". Through the analysis of the classification, it is found that there is an imbalance between the protection and development of the"Important ingenious agricultural heritage".The Important ingenious agricultural heritage has great value in history. So ,all of us should protect and develop it. In particular, local governments and relevant departments should protect and explore the local heritage actively. In addition,these agricultural heritages just like an outdoor museum which are built in vast land.Therefore, it has special significance to introduce the management mode of the museum to the protection and development of the Important ingenious agricultural heritage.
