A Study On The Topic Of Group Activities In The Textbooks For Spoken Chinese

Oral Chinese class' main goal is to improve students' oral communication ability. This characteristics determines the oral Chinese class should have more communication and interaction.Group activities allow students to work together and accomplish a specific task, which determines that group activities can provide more opportunities for students to interact and improve the efficiency of spoken language teaching.This paper is divided into four parts. The first chapter explains the group activities'connotation and the theoretical basis, the specific operation mode. The second chapter analysis the topic selection in the preparation of group work by counting two junior oral textbook, three intermediate oral textbook and three senior oral textbook. From this analysis,we can know about the group work's topic setting condition in current oral textbook. The third chapter analyzes the students' attitude toward different kinds of topic by giving questionnaire to Nanjing Normal University's foreign students. And the conclusion is :Students' basic attitude toward personal information topic and the cultural topics is "like". Students' basic attitude toward daily life topic and the social and natural phenomena? problems topic is "so so". Junior and intermediate student'basic attitude on life values topic is "so so", the senior students' attitude toward this kind of topic is "like". The fourth chapter compare students basic attitude toward different topic with the topic setting condition in current textbook, and find there are some problems such as:the percentage of different topics is not coordinate well with students' interests,the category of topic is two few,the topic's sequeence is not logical,etc.Finally,we come up with several suggestions to solve these problems.
