This study defines emotion management ability as individual emotion management is to correctly understand and observe yourself and other people's emotions, to distinguish the difference between all kinds of emotions, and be able to use these emotional information to guide the individual's ability to think and act. Draw lessons from the ministry of education fund project "the children's emotion management and researches of the parent-child relationship" in the classified method of emotion management ability, could be divided into the ability to recognize emotions, emotional management ability, the ability to understand the mood, regulate mood ability of three dimensions. At the same time,according to the theory basis for designing the group guidance scheme of left-behind children emotional management, emotional management group intervention experiments of left-behind children, to help left-behind children's emotion management ability, become the master of emotions. In the group guidance activities, using the change of cognitive, group interaction, group discussion and experience sharing group counseling method and technology.This study selected 32 left-behind children from Grade Four to Grade Six in a rural school in Lu'an,Anhui province, Which has a total of 330 left-behind children with detail information as the objects.The object students were devided into two parts: experimental group and controlled group.The left-behind children of 16 experimental class group counseling intervention. To the children's emotion management scale, unit feedback self-evaluation table and the final evaluation as a research tool, the experimental group and control group test before and after the test, through data analysis to verify hypothesis. The following conclusions:1. The left-behind children emotional management: (1) the left-behind children's emotion management ability are generally divided the highest with the trend of emotion understanding ability; (2)gender left-behind children's emotion recognition ability and the emotional regulation ability significant differences on the two dimensions; (3) different grade left-behind children in the dimension of emotion management ability on the whole, and some differences; (4) the left-behind children in emotion management ability on the whole, different age and certain dimension differences;2. The design of left-behind children emotion management group guidance scheme is feasible, after group counseling the emotion understanding ability, emotion regulation ability has been increased significantly.
