Peking University's "Laozi" Uses Words To Study

At the beginning of 2009,Peking University received a batch of bamboo slips from the Western Han Dynasty that returned from abroad,which were named "the bamboo slips from Western Han Dynasty Hidden in Peking University" subsequently.The batch of bamboo is rich in content,including "Cang Jie","Lao Zi" nearly 20 kinds of books,covering six categories that "HanShu·YiWenZhi" had divided into.As a large and preserved good part,"Lao Zi" keeps the words of Western Han Dynasty,and reflects the evolution of Chinese characters in different periods of development,and provides the valuable materials for us.This paper takes "Lao Zi" which was a part of bamboo slips that were hidden in Peking University as the research object,and studies the use of its words.Specifically,it can be divided into four parts:The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces research status,research significance and research value of "the bamboo slips from Western Han Dynasty Hidden in Peking University" and "Lao Zi";The second chapter introduces the definition and standard of interchangeable characters,then according to their relationship in phonology and glyph,we categorize 223 groups' interchangeable characters in the bamboo slips "Lao Zi".Besides,we compare the bamboo slips "Lao Zi" from Western Han Dynasty with different editions,such as GuoDian edition,MaWangDui editions,HeShanggong edition,WangBi edition.Finally,in order to observe its overall characteristic,we compare the interchangeable characters in bamboo slips "Lao Zi" from Western Han Dynasty with other literature in horizontal and vertical ways.The third chapter introduces the definition and standard of variant forms briefly,and then explain 27 groups one by one in the bamboo slips "Lao Zi".Finally,we summarize its characteristics: the majority of pictophmetic characters;the instability in the process of LiBian;retaining the ancient appearance.The fourth chapter introduces the definition and standard of wrong characters briefly,and then explain 27 groups one by one in the bamboo slips "Lao Zi".Finally,we summarize its characteristics: proportion relatively high;resulting from the similar glyph and context.
