Compared with the traditional Western painting history for the simple reproduction of “natural," the scope of contemporary art history under the definition of the landscape has entered a new stage."Landscape" in the visual research as a rather complex subject,involving disciplines not only rigidly adhere to the history of art,but also involves the geography,sociology,geopolitics,ecology and other subjects.But more importantly,"landscape painting" as a manifestation of visual experience,in the contemporary context,with an "interpretable" text exists.The introduction of cultural history and the personal experience of creators into the process of landscape painting is the source of this article.Through the reading and analysis of relevant academic resources published in recent years,this article attempts to explain the new definition of "landscape" in the contemporary context,under the cross development of art,geography,society and ecology.And the work will be named as "Re-landscape," the purpose is to change the "re" as an adverb attribute,endowing it a "returning" tendency.Once again this paper will focus on improving to the interpretation of the landscape.Cause the painting technique has been highly developed today,the contemporary context of the picture in the art has no longer been mainstream.Back to the landscape painting and then the re-creation of the meaning,in fact,is to find out the fundament of painting.Besides,because of the photographic technology proceeded so far,the purpose of landscape is not only to conduct the acting of painting itself by creators,but also the creators’ cognition into the painting process.This article aims at the discussion of the art language of the series work of "Re-landscapes," focusing on the choice of creative techniques,and the establishment of a breakthrough contemporary export for landscape painting.The subject of work will divide into three parts,the relationship between people and the landscapes;the place and space;as a natural landscape.By corresponding to my specific works and personal experience of painting creation,it is going to explore the subjects related to its meaning.At the same time,in the integration of personal experience,trying to clarify the image to the viewer,a abundant cultural world behind of the works,is this paper’s main conception.Finally,the landscape and memory,landscape and power as two concerns,the paper is to further explore the differences of works in the contemporary context.The former one discusses the relationship between creator,personal memory and visual culture and its meaning in the field of history,mainly embodied in the sketch aprocess of recall through the canvas,to express the creator’s mind in the screening of the profound memory point,only to privide a reasonable explanation of the work itself;However,the latter one is to discuss the creator’s perspective,how to avoid a over subjective oberservation during painting creation.For the specific object,it should apply the specific method to observe.As an author at the same time,in the course of painting,we need to be invoving ourselves into the senses we paint,making ourselves be a part of the landscape. |
