The Combination Of Audiovisual Teaching And Listening Teaching In The Application Of Advanced Chinese Listening Teaching

Currently TCFL is divided into different lessons according to listening,speaking,reading and writing.Listening class,as one of the compulsory course,plays an irreplaceable role in the area of TCFL.With the development of technology and the update equipment,there is great promotion on Listening teaching.However,from the teaching of listening class especially from the advanced stage,it could be seen that the pattern and teaching materials is deficient and the shortage of demonstration data and the not good effect in class,the Listening teaching becomes a weak part.Due to many students are not interested in listening class,students ignore or doesn’t like the listening class.The writer also found the problems above through the practice of listening class for one term for students of advanced class in School of Chinese Studies,XISU.Therefor,on the basis of listening book(Advanced Listening Course and Developing Chinese),the writer tried to improve by teaching and training the student by combination Audio-visual teaching and Listening teaching.This paper is around the writer’s Listening teaching practice.First,raise the problems of advanced Listening teaching of TCFL,such as the lack of teaching methods and the not good class effect,and then by the teaching and training of Audio-visual teaching and Listening teaching to prove if it is helpful to solve the problems.This paper first part to explain the meaning of Audio-visual teaching,and state the limit of Audio-visual teaching.The second part is,through the student’s need and satisfaction degree by the questionnaire analysis,to prove that the Audio-visual teaching is helpful to solve the problems above.Third part is to provide the example and suggestions for Audio-visual teaching on the basis of listening of books and CD.The fourth part provides the specific cases of combination of Audio-visual teaching and Listening teaching.The writer hopes,based on what studied,to have a favorable influence on advanced listening teaching for TCFL,and to continually improve and explore the listening teaching.
