With the rising of the “fever of learning Chinese”,researches on teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages are becoming more specifically country-oriented.Among related researches focusing on Spanish-speaking countries, those about Argentina are only in an invisible place. What's more, there's no research on phonetics teaching that is Argentina-focused.The result of this thesis can be applied directly to Chinese teaching in Argentina as a referential plan for teaching Chinese phonetics to Argentinian learners. This thesis has 5 parts.Prologue, the first part, will tell the reason of choosing this topic, previous researches, research methods and its uniqueness. The second part is about the collection and analysis of phonetic errors by indicating the source of the research material and by elaborating the phonetic errors in finals, initials and tones. The third part explains the origin of these phonetic errors through making comparisons respectively in the following 3 aspects: Chinese finals and Argentinian Spanish vowels,Chinese initials and Argentinian Spanish consonants,Chinese tones and the intonation of Argentinian Spanish.Further,it will also exemplify how to teach these tricky factors. The fourth part is a teaching plan plus a test designed for IC-UNLP,which has been applied in one class and tested in 3 classes during the summer intensive course. In the last part, you will read the conclusion and my expectation for future development in the field of teaching Chinese phonetics to speakers of Argentina.
