A Preliminary Study On The Film Inspection System In Shanghai (1927~1937)

Since 1927,the establishment of the Kuomintang Nanjing National Government,the modern Chinese history had a relatively stable period in ten years.During this period,the economy,culture and politics of China then had a more rapid development,so as the film industry.Shanghai as one of the earliest opening port of the country,an early contact with the international cultural trend,located at a unique position in the course of modernization,the development of Shanghai's film industry in China was second to none.This paper focuses on the film review system in Shanghai from 1927 to 1937,tries to clarify the establishment and implementation of the film inspection system in Shanghai,explores a series of factors that affect the film industry,and shows the other side of the film industry.The full text is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,systemically introduced the overall situation of the film industry in Shanghai.The first part is basically stresses two main points,firstly brief sorting of the demands of film inspection;second is briefly introducing the film inspection research situation in the period of the Republic of China,which leads to the exploration of the Shanghai area film inspection system research significance,and describes the main writing of this article Ideas and research methods.The second part is the second and third chapters of the thesis,and also the core of this paper.Administrative division of shanghai during the period of the Republic of China was divided into concession area and Chinese area,in the second chapter and the third chapter,the paper discusses the film inspection system in the public concession area and the film inspection measures adopted by the national government(the effect of the film inspection measures taken by the national government the scope is mainly limited to the community sector).Through this sort of combing,it is roughly to grasp the Shanghai film inspection development context in the 1930 s,which can also be seen behind the development of its international environmental and political changes.The third part is the fourth chapter of the paper,which is about the definition of the right of film inspection in the concession area.First,it describes the similarities and differences between the public concession and the French Concession in the film review system.The paper illustrates the "no fear of death" event as the starting point,combine the illustration of the "not afraid of death" incident and the analysis of the previous chapters,to discuss the Cooperation and confrontation between the concession district and the national government in film inspection.The fourth chapter is the conclusion of the whole thesis.Through the introduction of the film review system in the gradual improvement of the contents of the film review,regard the electrical inspection on the background of the era as a consideration,rethinking about the role and significance of electronic inspection.
