Contemporary Lacquer Art Form Research

With continuous development and exchanges in the contemporary art environment,lacquer art,as an ancient but also young subject,gradually forms its own system.Numerous exhibitions held at home and abroad,including National Art Exhibition of Lacquer Painting,Hubei International Triennial of Lacquer Art,The Ishikawa International Urushi Exhibition(Japan)and International Contemporary Ottchil Art Exhibition,are a symbol of affirmation for the lacquer art as an independent painting,materials for professional categories,which has played an important role in promoting the development of the possibility of painting materials,multiple display of its form.Thus,this paper is divided into three parts: Chapter I is about the study of the context and foundation of contemporary lacquer art form research under the vision of globalization.Chapter II,the major part of this paper,will introduce the form of contemporary lacquer art,which not only means the form of lacquer art itself(including three-dimension,plane,space,ideas and so on),but also refers to the cultural form of lacquer art,then a comparative analysis of typical lacquer culture between China and Japan will be followed.In addition,a comparison of the ecological development,survival mode between contemporary and traditional lacquer art will also be made,and then some new ideas will be put forward as well.Finally,conclusion of the study art will be made,as well as its characteristics,and then some problems of contemporary lacquer art will be pointed out.In Chapter III,the theory will be linked with practice,and the research topic carried out will be of great theoretical support for graduation design.
