Research On Contemporary Lacquer Art Creation Inspired By Ancient Dian Lacquer Art

This paper is mainly divided into four parts: the overview of ancient Dian lacquer art,the value of ancient Dian lacquer art,the influence and Enlightenment of ancient Dian lacquer art on contemporary lacquer art creation,and the author’s creation.Yunnan has a long history of using lacquer,which can be traced back to the late spring and Autumn period.In recent years,many ancient tombs in Yunnan have been excavated,and a large number of lacquerware from the ancient Dian period have been unearthed;especially in Yangfutou cemetery,the lacquerware unearthed is the one with the largest variety and the most complex quantity among the tombs of Dian culture,which is of great significance for the study of the shape,technology,pattern,color and creation concept of lacquerware in the ancient Dian period.Firstly,this paper interprets the ancient Dian lacquer art from five aspects:the history of ancient Dian,the distribution scope,the main types,the production technology and the production conditions of ancient Dian lacquer art.In history,this paper expounds several views on the history of ancient Yunnan and the author’s interpretation;in the distribution range,it selects several representative cemeteries for analysis;in the type of lacquerware,it is divided into eight categories: life class,weapons class,tools class,religious sacrifice class,decoration class,funeral class,lacquer wood accessories and ritual class;in the production process,it is divided into two aspects: molding and decoration In terms of the advantages,this paper analyzes the development of ancient Dian lacquer art from the perspective of nature and humanity.Secondly,it explores the value of ancient Dian lacquer art from two aspects of historical value and artistic aesthetic value.Its historical value confirms the history and achievements of ancient Dian lacquer to the world;its artistic aesthetic value is interpreted from the four aspects of modeling,decoration,material and function.The materials,design and modeling of ancient Dian lacquer are closely related to its life,and its decorative patterns and materials have distinctive regional style and characteristics.Thirdly,it is about the influence and Enlightenment of ancient Yunnan lacquer art on contemporary lacquer art creation,mainly from the four aspects of modeling aesthetics,decoration technology,tire making technology and practical function.Tire making technology and pragmatism have a great influence on contemporary lacquer art design creation.In particular,molding materials have a great enlightening effect,and pragmatism also has a deep enlightening effect on contemporary lacquer art creation.The last part is the author’s practical creation,which is divided into six themes,namely Guqin series,lacquer painting series,tea table series,ornamental series,diet series and 3D printing series.These will be displayed through the way of physical display.
