Scholars In The Tang Dynasty Traveled For A Study

In this paper,we will research the incentive travel phenomenon of Tang' s intellectual,and their causes,characteristics and influence.the travel motivation of the intellectual as a starting point,on the basis of analyzing its social background and general situation,combined with a large number of instances.Chinese ancient intellectuals under the influence of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism,always pursuit "reading thousands of books,travelling thousands of road" cultivating one's morality,governing one's country,flating one's world".In history,Intellectual is a long-term stabilitable travel activity of the main class of the philistines.Since Qin and Han dynasties,after centuries of founding and development of a unified centralized feudal state to the Tang dynasty,reaching the prosperity stage,the period of social,political,military,culture and so on.Many aspects has a very big change and development.The intellectual travel motivation,except the original marriage,funeral,study,monk,also present a new form of expression——this article proposed——the travel phenomenon of the intellectual.For the intellectual to travel activities,the analysis and research is not only beneficial to us a more comprehensive understanding of the life of the Tang's intellectual and its role in the process of historical development,more important is for us from the perspective of intellectual reduction in different periods in Tang dynasty,the complexity of the social situation provides a new perspective.This article main body is divided into three chapters:The first chapter mainly discusses the general situation of the social background and motivation of the intellectual to travel.We will research the basic social status since the establishment of the tang dynasty,from the aspects of politics,economy and culture.in other words——the social background of intellectual could be carried out smoothly to travelling.In addition,on the basis of a variety of travel motivation research,discuss the causes of the motive and representative,and divided into travel motivation are for recommending to the central government or local military office.and laying the foundation for the second chapter specific analysis.The second chapter detailed discussion for the travel of the intellectual for recommending to the central government.From the reputation and the reality of social impact,the Tang dynasty official attitude toward recommend advocate,states expedition admission results recommend,This three aspects are good for this article to research the Tang dynasty,namely the intellectual for the reason of travel.Combined with the historical data of a large number of intellectual travel with Li Bai,Du Fu,Han Yu,Bai Juyi,as the typical research travelling to recommending to the central government for the activities of the intellectual,and discuss the relationships of this travel and his political career ups and downs.Finally,We will summarizes the four main features of the intellectual travel activity.The third chapter specific discuss to the intellectual to travel for the local military office.After the war of An Lushan and Shi Siming,political and military situation had a large changes in the Tang dynasty.On the basis of research intellectual in different periods to travel into the local military office.And we will found its present a large-scale and generalization.The combination of historical data in a large number of intellectual to travel into the local military office,such as Gao shi,Cen shen,Li Yi,Du Mu.As the typical research travelling to the local military office for the activities of the intellectual,and discuss the relationships of this travel and his political career ups and downs.Finally,We will summarizes the four main features of the intellectual travel activity.The fourth chapter is mainly on the basis of all above article,summarizing the characteristics of travel phenomenon and historical influence for the Tang's intellectual.It's the epitome of political,economic and military situation in Tang dynasty,but also a subtle influence on the whole social situation in Tang dynasty.
