Re-exploration Of The Author's Questions

Since Roland Barthe published "the death of the author",author becomes one of the hot issues of contemporary literary theory.In fact,Formalism,Anglo-American New Criticism and so on had already killed the author in different ways before Roland Bart.Does the fact that the theorists continue to murder the author indicate that the author is still alive?If the answer is yes,what did Roland Bart killed?In the first two chapters,I try to clarify the process of the murder of the author and how to be murdered,and analyze the shortcomings of these theories by analyzing the author 's death.after the Enlightenment,self-consciousness becomes center of the world."Author"was born for this philosophical background and romantic art of art as a symbol.The first part of this paper deals with view of author in "What is Literature?".Though the phenomenon,Sartre negated the subject of the transcendental,that the subject is self-shaping independent individuals.In a sense,this view kills the author,but also takes the subjectivity of the traditional author to the top.On the other hand,Sartre saw the author as a society and is in a tense relationship with others.Because Sartre was in the field of modern problems with phenomenological research subject.So the theory exists such a paradox that people is both free and independent individual,but also exists in society.Sartre's study opened the door to the study of the author,with the role of the link.The second chapter explores the criticism and expose of subjectivity in structuralism-poststructuralism.Roland Bart wrote "Writing Degree Zero" to respond to Sartre "What is Literature?".The text denied of the autonomy of the author though the social and systematic language,analysis the structure of writing--writing is a scientific technology production,and killed the author from the side.And then Roland Bart directly attacked metaphysics from the positive,so that the language replace the author as the subject,which officially announced the author died.The argue that this radical rebellion against metaphysics is largely consistent with metaphysics.And "the death of the author" is the result of contradiction between the modern cognitive type,the result of the subject concept was criticized by different theory.However,the author of the theoretical basis of the existence of modern understanding has not yet collapsed,the author is still alive.Foucault pointed out that the interpretation of the author is the result of the operation of the discourse,and killed the author.These theories have made efforts to disintegrate the central position of self-consciousness,but they have an inescapable flaw.The author is not only the result of shaping the theory,but also produced by the interdependence of various forces,and is the writing practice.The author's consciousness is that theorists can study the objects that the author can not escape.Marxism can dialectical analyze self-consciousness,take the individual in life,against the method that summed up or induction,and respect for particularity.The author argues that Marxism can make up for the defects of existentialism,structuralism and post-structuralism to a certain extent,criticize the universality with the specificity of social history,recognize the author in the concrete writing practice,and deny the author's subjective position.The producer replaces the author."The death of the author" is not accomplished in an action,but through a continuous criticism that deny the status of self-consciousness process.However,the "death of the author" is only a slogan that theorist is the result of the continuous efforts to disintegrate the central position of self-consciousness.The disciples believe that,after Roland Barthes,the theorists will continue to try to murder the author until the author really dies.
