| This thesis selects Chapter 2 of Tourism and Trails as the translation practice text.Tourism text has the characteristics of a large vocabulary,a broad knowledge,which is decided by its characters of culture,integrity,leisure and applicability etc.From the point of view of English-Chinese translation,translator focuses on the application of conversion,the translation of words and the translation of the attributive clause.Translator discusses the application of conversion from “the conversion of parts of speech and the conversion of sentence elements”;discusses the translation of words from amplification,omission and the translation of pronouns;And divide the translation strategies of the attributive clause into combination,division,mixture,and adding transitional words.And then make a summary of the translation strategies and methods of the tourism text in order to provide experience and reference for the translation of similar texts. |
