| In accordance with Daniel Gile's Effort Model Theory,the writer understands the allocation of the energy in the process of the interpretation.When completing the high-intensity and multitask brain mission with a view to ensure correct and complete interpretation,the interpreters need to resort to certain strategies in SI to shorten the Span between Ear and Voice,lessen the burden of short-term memory,optimize effort distribution,so as to complete interpretation perfectly.Syntactic linearity is one of the most basic strategies.This thesis explores the reason,application and the relation between the theory and practice.And it also demonstrates three techniques of Syntactic linearity strategy,namely,segmentation,addition and conversion.The thesis chooses Speech by Bill Gate in Beijing University as the corpus.The discussion is conducted,from Syntactic linearity strategy,to analyze the mistakes seen in the task and the solution to them.Combining the theory and the corpus,the thesis also focuses on the applicability of Syntactic linearity.Hopefully,it can provide guidance in Syntactic linearity practice.. |
