"Charming Chinese" (intermediate) Textbook Research

"Charming Chinese"(intermediate)is a comprehensive Chinese textbook for southeast Asia which is published by Guangxi normal university press.The teaching object is the foreign student who already has the elementary Chinese level or the long-term student.This textbook is widely used in Southwest China.At present the study of the teaching material is not much,this article through to the teaching of vocabulary,grammar,text analysis and practice four parts content,USES the statistical and inductive analysis method for the contents of the teaching material system is discussed and analyzed.The author finds that the teaching material has a large vocabulary,pays attention to the teaching of vocabulary and the subject of the text,and pays attention to the characteristics of the communication of Chinese culture,the large amount of practice and the heavy reading training.At the same time,the author compares the vocabulary items and grammar items with the corresponding outline,and finds that a significant number of vocabulary and language points are not given in the outline.The text of the prose is more prose,slightly monotonous and so on.The number of subjects is uneven,and prose is more monotonous.The number of exercises in some types of exercises is not equal.At the same time,some amendments to the problem are suggested.
