A Probe Into The Successful Way Of Ma Youde's Erhu Teaching

Professor MaYoude,respected as the coach of champions is a renowned Er-hu educationist and musician who has cultivated a number of famous Er-hu musicians during his educational career spanning more than sixty years.This paper tries to investigate into the conceptions and approaches of his Er-hu education by means of text analysis and interviews.Based on summarizing the core of his educational arts,this research analyzes Ma's teaching methods and contribution from the dynamic perspective of ‘how to instruct – how to learn – what has been aquired'.This paper explores Ma's approach of containing methods in connotation and his unique way to convey the essence of Er-hu music,and further analyses his contributions to instruction system and subject construction in Er-hu education.In conclusion,it comprehensively defines Ma's values and significance in contemporary Er-hu arts and education system...
