An Analysis Of The Supplement Of Jingge Singing To The Training System Of The National Vocal Music Majors In Higher Normal Schools

Chinese national vocal music is a new national singing art,currently a representative of traditional vocal music majors in academic institutions of music in China.It is based on traditional Chinese singing arts,such as traditional operas,Shuochang telling and folk songs,and it also adopts the advantages of western bel cantos.In the national vocal music training system of the high normal university which the author studies at,the vocal skills that students learn mainly involve traditional Chinese folk style singing and bel canto;the species of repertoire that students learn basically include classical Chinese poetries,art songs,folk songs,original songs and selections from operas.Traditional opera singing and performing is less found in the national vocal music instructional systems of the high normal universities.However,learning traditional operas is not only essential for students who major in national vocal music,but also a necessity for the inheritance of folk songs.So the author chooses to add traditional operas to the repertoire,and spent some time learning from an excellent performer of the Mei Lanfang School of the Opera Theatre who plays the main female role,and watching the traditional operas.Pusuanzi Yong Mei,with Peking Opera style,is one of the opera-style songs the author performed.At the beginning the author had a little interest in this song and then developed a passion for it while learning and performing.At the same time,the author found that it could fill the vacancy of traditional operas in the instructional systems,and gained insights into the theories of vocal skills,the adjustment and implement of the techniques.It has positive effects on the inheritance of traditional operas,the complement and improvement of singing techniques and instructional systems of national vocal music.It can not only improve the singing techniques,but also dig into those theories at a deeper level.So the author decided to take the song,Pusuanzi Yongmei,as the research object,and to study it further.Beginning with the individual performance,the author developed research on curriculum and training in the national vocal music instructional systems of the high normal universities,in order to motivate students' heritance and studies of national vocal music.
