Habermas's Study Of The Legality Of The Reconstruction Of Historical Materialism

Since the Second World War,capitalism has developed to a new stage,and many new situations and new problems have emerged.The theoretical circles have also questioned Marx's related doctrine,thus setting off a wave of rereading and reconstructing historical materialism.However,these scholars interpret the object are often "Marxism" rather than Marx's theory itself.Habermas is one of the most important philosophers of the contemporary German reputation,and the second generation of leaders of the Frankfurt School has considerable academic influence.He,like other Western Marxist theorists,combines his own theory Context and the environment to understand and study the historical materialism,especially his "reconstruction of historical materialism" has a prominent representation.Therefore,it is helpful to reflect and innovate historical materialism in the study of Habermas' main content and method of "reconstructing historical materialism",especially the legitimacy of his"reconstruction".This paper attempts to study three questions:why should Habermas rebuild historical materialism?How is he rebuilt?How did he reconstructed it?The third question is the focus of this article.In order to elaborate and solve the above problems,this paper is divided into five parts:The first part systematically expounds the reason of this paper,the research status at home and abroad,the significance and method of research and the difficulties and innovations of this paper;The second part of this paper trace the social background?philosophical history background and theoretical background of Habermas reason to rebuild the historical materialism,grasp Habermas background of "reconstruct" historical materialism,to answer Habermas why to rebuild the historical materialism;The third part expounds Habermas's comprehension of historical materialism and the main content of his reconstruction;The fourth part compares and analyzes Habermas's and Marx's view,explores the root cause of the deviation of Habermas's "reconstruction" road,distinguishes the essential difference and different positions between their thoughts;The fifth part,from the perspective and methods of Marxist philosophy to explore the essence of Habermas reconstruction and the inspiration of innovative historical materialism,Thus exploring and answering the question of how did he reconstructed it?In the creation of historical materialism,Marx and Engels face and solve the problems of free capitalism,then in the late capitalist period it is often difficult to explain the theoretical framework use the original historical materialism.Habermas rebuilt historical materialism,in essence,is to solve the dilemma faced by historical materialism so that liberating historical materialism from the shackles of dogma.In this regard,the reconstruction of Habermas is undoubtedly of great significance.However,his idea of reconstruction is fundamentally deviated from the basic spirit of historical materialism,and in the evaluation of Marx's thought is also unfair.
