The Study Of The Zodiac Culture In The Tang Dynasty

As an important part of Chinese traditional culture,the Chinese Zodiac culture has experienced several important historical and cultural stages.As the key period of the development of Chinese Zodiac culture,Tang Dynasty has made an indelible contribution to the spread of overseas and the continuation of the later generations.lt is important that a large number of Chinese Zodiac relics in Tang Dynasty,such as tomb figures,epitaph decorations,cupreous mirror and other archaeological materials,has provides the basis study of the Tang Dynasty Zodiac.This paper coordinates the zodiac tomb figures according to the archaeological excavation report and documents since 1949,and collections more than 300 epitaph decorations to lay the foundation of the artistic characteristics.Beyond that,this paper also collections the information of cupreous mirror,fresco and other archaeological materials,providing protection for us to find issues of religion and social belief of Tang Dynasty Zodiac culture.This paper extract the relationship between the Tang Dynasty Zodiac culture and religion,calendar,folk beliefs.Summing up more comprehensive and rational summary of the Tang Dynasty Zodiac culture,so as for further explore the cultural characteristics and influence.This paper mainly discusses the cultural characteristics of the Tang Dynasty Zodiac,including two aspects:artistic features and spatial—temporal features.The first aspect is the study of the artistic features of the zodiac in the Tang Dynasty.The second part is the study of the characteristics of the Tang Dynasty culture system.The Tang Dynasty Zodiac culture has an important influence of domestic culture and foreign culture,such as breaking the palace and marketplace restrictions,powerful influenced the civilization in Korea and Japan.This paper try to get relevant clues of the Chinese Zodiac from the complicated and scattered Tang Dynasty literature,and historical culture relics by means of the dual evidence.Through the study of historical environment,religious beliefs,customs,art creation and a series of cultural individuals,l try to get a more rational and comprehensive summary of the zodiac culture in Tang Dynasty.To further explore the characteristics and influence of the Tang Dynasty Zodiac culture.
