| Originated from Putian,Fujian,the prototype of Matsu is a woman named Lin Mo,rescuing many people in perils of the sea.She was respected as the Goddess of the Sea by coastal residents because of her chairtable and saving.Since the Song dynasty,worship of Mazu Goddess has gradually spread in all the coastal provinces,municipalities in China and all the island countries in Southeast Asia,spreading from south to north.With the long history,wide dissemination and far-reaching influence,Mazu is the most popular belief among the folk people.As early as the Yuan Dynasty,Mazu culture was propagated to Liaoning Province and widely spread in coastal areas such as Dandong,Dalian and Yingkou,which had a profound impact for local residents on their social and cultural life.In order to promote the development of the Mazu culture prosperously in Liaoning and to expand the effect on the local custom of traditional Northeast China,the news reports about the cultural activities of Mazu in Liaoning is worth to studying.After classifying the subject of the news reports about the cultural activities of Mazu in Liaoning into five types—the report of sacrificial activity,folk activity,cultural exchange activity,restoration of mazu temple in the area and academic activity,this thesis has introduced and extracted the content characteristics for the different types of reports;In the second place,it has analyzed how the news texts produced the meaning in the aspects of "the construction of Mazu cultural knowledge" and "the shape of the media image of Mazu",by means of the deep study on different types of reporting texts.Finally,it has summarized social function of the news reports about the cultural activities of Mazu in Liaoning,that is,constructing the mazu culture system of Liaoning,expanding mazu culture circle,inheriting mazu culture spirit and promoting to be the connection between liaoning and the maritime silk road,via describing,explaining,and analyzing from the second chapter. |
