In this paper,all kinds of rhetoric syllabus requirements,classroom observation and interview content combined with each other,according to the present situation to analyze the curriculum and rhetoric of Shanghai Normal University advanced Chinese writing teaching,discusses the main content of rhetoric from the goal and the teaching,determines the principle of rhetoric teaching content.On the basis of students' composition corpus,in the light of Chen Wangdao positive rhetoric and negative rhetoric theory,combined with the research of Chen Guanglei and Lu Jianming about negative rhetoric,as far as possible the system analysis advanced Chinese writing for foreign students rhetoric error,among error analysis includes the five aspects,positive rhetoric includes the three aspects.At the same time,through the observation of advanced Chinese writing course and the investigation and understanding of overseas students,the author sums up the causes of rhetorical errors of foreign students in advanced Chinese writing from the perspective of the characteristics of Chinese rhetoric,learners' perspectives and teaching.It further puts forward some teaching strategies for teachers,designs relevant teaching activities,and explores new research directions,so as to improve the writing effect of overseas Chinese students.This paper is divided into six parts,of which the third and the fifth chapter are the key chapters.
