Analysis Of The Parallel Narrative Structure In The Film

The film with parallel narrative structure contains both the characteristics of non-linear narrative and linear narrative.it is a complicated process from its emergence to its development,and has not yet formed a systematic research discipline.Whether at the beginning of the trial stage,or today's colorful content form,is the film workers to adapt to the needs of the film market today's efforts.However,the parallel narrative structure of the film still has many aspects to be improved,especially in the narrative technique,plot innovation,theme creation,character setting has a lot of room for improvement.This article will start with the use of narrative structure,analyze the narrative structure in film and television works,lead to the concept and characteristics of parallel structure,and point out that the nonlinear narrative structure is the most obvious characteristics of parallel structure.Taking Korean director Hong Shangxiu's film " right then wrong" as an example,this paper analyzes the application of parallel narrative structure in film and television works.Then take the graduation work " double-sided life" as an example,combining with the plot of the film specific analysis of the parallel structure of narrative to express the role of the film's practical significance.Finally,it summarizes the psychological inspiration of parallel narrative structure to the audience,and points out the development trend of parallel narrative structure in film and television works.
