Knowledge-sharing hostility behaviors,such as knowledge hoarding,reject,and so on,commonly exists in all kinds of organizations,and having a huge negative impact on obtaining competitive advantage for those organizations.Thus,reasons and governance of the production of Knowledge-sharing hostility gradually become the focuses of knowledge managers and researchers.As to the phenomenon of hindering the sharing of knowledge in organizations,this research makes an open type questionnaire survey and analyzes documents about it.Questionnaire for Knowledge-sharing Hostility,which includes three determiners and ten items.In addition,in order to examine the relation between Knowledge-governance Mechanisms and Knowledge-sharing Hostility,further more to explore the impact on this relation from perceived self-ownership and interpersonal trust,the Questionnaire for Knowledge-governance Mechanisms,Questionnaire for Knowledge-sharing Hostility,Questionnaire for Perceived Self ownership and Questionnaire for Interpersonal Trust were tested on 314 employees in knowledge-based enterprises.The results as follows:(1)Self “knowledge-sharing hostility” questionnaire consists of three dimensions and 10 items with good reliability and validity;(2)The transaction-based knowledge governance mechanism positively predicts knowledge hoarding and knowledge rejecting behavior,and the commitment-based knowledge governance mechanism can negatively predict the knowledge-sharing hostility.The transaction-based governance promotes the perceived self ownership and the commitment-based governance promotes the interpersonal trust;that is,the higher the degree of adopting transaction-based governance,the more the employee knowledge hoarding,knowledge rejecting behavior and the higher perception of individual ownership of knowledge;the higher the implementation of commitment-based governance,The higher the interpersonal trust of employees,the lower the degree of knowledge-sharing hostility.(3)Perceived individual ownership of knowledge contributes to knowledge hoarding and knowledge rejecting,while interpersonal trust plays a partial mediator role in the knowledge-sharing hostility.That is,the higher the employee's perceived individual knowledge ownership,the more the employee's knowledge hoarding,knowledge rejecting behavior,and the higher the interpersonal trust,the lower the staff's knowledge-sharing hostility.(4)Perception of individualownership of knowledge plays a part mediator role between transaction-based knowledge governance and knowledge hoarding and knowledge rejecting.That is,transaction-based knowledge governance mechanism partly influences staff's knowledge hoarding and knowledge rejecting by perceiving individual knowledge ownership.Interpersonal trust plays a part mediator role between commitment-based mechanisms and knowledge rejecting and passive attitude of sharing failure,and plays a complete mediator role between commitment-based mechanisms and knowledge hoarding.That is,commitment-based mechanisms completely through interpersonal trust affects employees Knowledge hoarding behavior,partly through the interpersonal trust affect employee knowledge rejecting and passive attitude of sharing failure.
