Public Art Involves The Inheritance Of Urban Context

The existence of urban context makes the city endowed with inner spirit.The cultural context of the city left people with the impression that they can find the city's sense of belonging when they are searching for urban memories.In the current urban development process,the urban context continues to present a series of problems,the city has lost its unique character and soul,and it is imminent to inherit the urban context.This article is mainly composed of four parts.The first chapter introduces the research background from the aspects of the relationship between public art and urban context.The second chapter mainly analyzes the way and characteristics of the public art heritage of urban context in the form of cases.The third chapter discusses how public art is involved in inheriting urban context from aspects of public art policies and regulations,public participation awareness,and artist guidance.The fourth chapter takes personal creation as an example to explore ways of cultural heritage.This paper hopes to find out the ways and methods of inheritance of urban contexts by examining the involvement of public art in urban construction.It explores the possibility of public art creation influenced by many factors such as the artists and the public as well as policies formulated by the government.In order to solve the issue of cultural heritage in the city,we have found ways to intervene in public art,as well as problems that may arise in the process.
