| Since the reform issue, great changes have taken place in Chinese society. It also has brought unprecedented challenges to China’s social management, urban and rural community is the basic unit of society, and the foundation of modern society, and the community of people’s life, and to implement the people self-governing entity at the grassroots level, bearing the weight of the various rights of residents. Community is a microcosm of the society, all kinds of complex relationships in the society and the problems are reflected by the community, community harmony is the foundation of social harmony, so the research between urban identity and community participation in the relationship has important significance to the construction of a harmonious society.Based on China’s general social survey the relevant data from CGSS2010 as research samples, and use SPSS 19.0 analysis, empirical analysis of residents to participate in the (village) committee vote, industry authority and community activity description statistics, analysis, the overall status of urban residents to participate in community governance, Using the regression analysis, analysis of the identity of the community residents and community participation, found that the identity of the urban residents for community residents’community of public administration and political participation have a significant impact, the identity of the urban residents for community residents to participate in the community to formulate and implement no significant influence of public policy.According to the results of empirical analysis, this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions:the first one is to strengthen the propaganda, raise the consciousness of the urban community residents to participate in community governance; the second one is resident status as a starting point, to encourage urban residents to actively participate in community political activities; the third one is to provide institutional guarantee for the existing community social organizations, continue to cultivate new community organization; the fourth one is to clear the social capital investment goals and direction, as an effective way to enhance community governance innovation system dependency. |
