The Value Of Red Tourism In The Ideological And Political Education Of Young People

Red tourism is one of the thematic tourist activities.It relays on the revolutionary site of the historical sites,relics and other red resources,and integrates the revolutionary tradition of education and tourism.In recent years,on the strong support of the central and local governments at all levels,red tourism activities have earned love and praise from people of all sectors.Owing to the joining of large number of people,especially during the holidays,the red tourism activities developed explosively.This kind of thematic tourism activities not only promote the economic development of the old revolutionary bases area but also conduct invisible ideological and political education to the public.What’s more,it can realize its value as a new carrier of ideological and political education,and further enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education.This paper takes Yan’an— the red tourism as an example,starts from the connection between red tourism and ideological and political education,expounds the value of red tourism in the ideological and political education of young people,and analyzes the specific issues and the way that affect the realization of value.The article is divided into three parts:The first part is the introduction.It elaborates the background and significance of the topic on the value of red tourism in the youth ideological and political education,the current situation of research at domestic and abroad,the research ideas and methods,and the innovation and shortcomings,and paves the way for the writing of the paper.The second part is the text which includes four aspects.The first aspect summarizes the connotation and characteristics of red tourism,analyzes the connection between red tourism and ideological and political education,introduces the main resources and the advantage of developing red tourism in Yan’an.The second aspect elaborates the value of the red tourism in the youth ideological and political education,including the political value such as loving the party,patriotism and loving the socialism;the educational value such as establishing the broad ideal,highly belief,strong will and quality;the cultural value such as spreading the heritage of the old revolutionary bases area,improving cultural self-confidence,and cultivating the moral sentiments.The third aspect points out,in the realization of the value of youth ideological and political education,some issues existing in the red tourism such as the single content in red tourism area,the old education method,the deficient infrastructure,the poor reception ability.The fourth aspect puts forward the concrete realization way of the red tourism in the value of youth ideological and political education from the aspects of the construction and management of the red tourist area,the "red education" deepening campus,and the enthusiasm of the young people in the red tourism activities.The third part is the conclusion.This part summarizes the value of red tourism in youth ideological and political education,and illustrates the reason why it takes Yan’an as the red tourism.This paper aims to provide references to the innovation on the development of red tourism and the way of youth ideological and political education through the discussion of these two sides.
