In the context of urban and rural development, the transformation of agriculture and the "administrativeization" of community governance,community governance,especially in the process of accelerating urbanization,due to its both urban community and rural community characteristics, the governance of agricultural communities in urban suburbs has some problems, for example, the governance model is relatively simple, the governance system is not straightened out,the community autonomy is rare,and the participation of residents and the difficulty of non-governmental organizations' entry is weak. Therefore, it is very important to explore the innovation path of the"agriculture-related community" governance model in the suburbs in the current situation.Based on the theories of new public management theory, such as civil society theory and good governance theory, this paper analyzes the background and current situation of community management in urban suburbs and the importance and urgency of the governance of agricultural communities in urban suburbs. Using the example of XinTong community of Jiangning streets in Jiangning District, Nanjing, this paper analyzes the internal management mechanism and connotation of the new copper model, and explores the innovation path of the governance model of the agricultural community in the urban suburbs. From the national system construction, social organization and professional social work involved, active participation of community residents and autonomous governance and other aspects, through the realization of the public service, socialization, autonomy to reach the urban suburbs agriculture community "good governance".
