Investigation And Analysis Of The Involvement Of Social Work In Community Home Care Services

Since 1970s,China's family planning policy has led to a reduction in the birth rate,changes in the family structure,the growing number of aging population,with the deepening of aging degree.The development of the society and the increasing aging population,family structure miniaturization and endowment function gradually weakened,and the immature development of pension institutions is difficult to meet the needs of the market,resulting in the disadvantages and contradictions of the traditional pension system and the pension model increasingly apparent.Therefore,how to support the elderly,in what way can be generally accepted has become an invisible pressure of the whole society.The community is the main place for the elderly to live and have daily activities,so the community pension as a new way of pension has become the mainstream trend of pension modernization.The community pension is between the family endowment and institutional pension,making use of personal,family,community and social resources to let the elderly live in a familiar environment,offering nearby and convenient service for the elderly,to meet the needs of their daily lives and also the spiritual and cultural needs.In the process of learning experience and exploring development,China's community home care has made certain achievements.However,there are still some problems in the process of community home care,such as the lack of professional services,the lack of professional talents and so on.Social work as a professional service to help people,through the involvement of the community home care services,targeted to solve the specific problems of the elderly,so that to improve the professional level of community home care.Accordingly,this paper based on the perspective of social work,through the author's investigation and analysis of the status of home care service in X community in Nanjing during her internship period,by using the methods of literature analysis,participant observation and interview,this paper analyzes the basic situation of the community,and discusses the problems in the community home care service.The first part outlines the background and significance of the study,and gives a brief introduction of the current domestic and foreign research on the community home care services.The second part describes the related concepts of community home care,social work intervention and Mas low's hierarchy of needs theory,activity theory,social support network theory.The third part,based on the general situation of X community home-based care services center,the current service content analysis,summarizes the existing X service community home-based care problems,such as low degree of specialization of staff,the lack of understanding of the profession of social work and the inappropriate social work intervention and other issues.The last two parts combining the advantages of social work intervention in community home care services,analyze the ways and methods of social work intervention in the community home care services,and summarizes the methods of social work intervention according to X community home care services in the case of social work,group and community case,to explore the positive role of social work methods in the pension institutions,further expand the scope of social work research and service crowd,and make the community home care services more professional.
