Sino-Russian Economic Diplomacy Research Under The "Belt And Road" Initiative

Economic diplomacy has increasingly become the most important and the most common diplomatic activities in the current era,the global economic governance system dominated by governments has gradually formed.Economic diplomacy is also a key part of China's diplomatic strategy,after years of efforts,the point to surface pattern of economic diplomacy has been initially formed.Russia as an important strategic partner of China,Sino-Russian economic diplomacy for China's foreign economic diplomacy has far-reaching significance.2013,President Xi Jinping proposed "The Belt and Road" initiative,the new historical opportunity will promote the development of Sino-Russian economic diplomatic relations to a higher level.This paper starts from the development characteristics of Sino-Russian economic diplomacy in various fields,and explores the positive role of "The Belt and Road" initiative on the Sino-Russian cooperation in the field of trade,investment,finance and energy.The docking and construction cooperation of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the Eurasian Economic Union provides a great opportunity for Sino-Russian economic diplomacy cooperation.Aiming at the challenges of future development of Sino-Russian economic diplomacy may face in the field of economic and political security,This paper argues that China and Russia should further strengthen civil trust,coordinate bilateral cooperation mechanism and form a long-term cooperation plan,promote the local cooperation and participate in the development of the Russian Far East,Give full play to the complementary advantages of both sides in various fields,and promote the Sino-Russian economic diplomacy to a higher level.
