YP Law Firm's Professional Development Strategy Research

YP law firm is a small scale firm established for short time,it is faced with a real challenge on how to succeed to securing its market position in today's highly competitive law service industry.The major aim of this paper is to analyze the external environment of YP law firm objectively,concluding the challenges and opportunities facing YP law firm.Meanwhile,combined with principles of opportunity seizing and exploiting advantages,the paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the law firm and makes the developing strategy based on its real condition.Hopefully,the research result of the paper can be taken as references for domestic law firms' developing strategies.This paper firstly states research background and significance,then presents research status on current strategy management and relevant theories about professionalism by detailed literature review.After that,it researches professionalized development mode and connotation of law firm.Then,PEST Model and Michael Porter's Five Forces Model are used to analyze YP law firm's external environment to specify the challenges and opportunities facing the law firm.Meanwhile,the paper analyzes the law firm's advantages and disadvantages from two aspects of internal resources and core competitiveness.SWTO analysis approach is used to summarize the firm's external advantages and disadvantages as well as external opportunities and threats,finally forming the firm's vision,mission and core value.After that,the paper proposes corresponding developing strategic aim and strategic option for professionalized development.In the end,the paper proposes the safeguarding measures of professionalized development from the aspects of corporatization,marketization,branding,law service,professional personnel.
