First of all, the thesis expounds relative theories of strategic management, concepts about strategic management, the origination, characters, and.significance of strategic management in enterprises, and briefly introduces some analysis methods to work out developing strategy in enterprises. Based on the necessity of developing strategic research in enterprises, the article puts forward to carry out the developing strategy & programming research by means of model of strategic management process.This article presents mission of Changan Corp. in first, indicating R&D, manufacturing and selling being mainly engaged in by the company. Exposition and forecast of external environment factors related to the development of enterprises is being followed, in respect of domestic macro-economy status, national economical growth will be kept stable and fast, strategic adjustment of economic structure to be implemented by the government, economical development all-round promoted by speeding construction process of urbanization, consumption ability being enhanced continuously caused by inhabitants income rising, and relative policies drafted by authorities encouraging development of automobile industry, etc., in another respect of developing environment of auto industry, this article analyses the current situation and demands forecast of auto industry. Submitting the external key opportunities and threats of enterprise developing upon the above analysis, the article states the opportunities roughly balancing the threats faced by enterprise for developing with usage of EFE Matrix. Then, the thesis analyses internal environment from aspects of integrated competitiveness, HR situation, manufacturing ability, application of computer &information system, financial status and so on, taking use of IFE Matrix analysis to a conclusion: in a word, the advantage in Changan Corp. is greater than weakness.On the base of the above analysis, making clear with opportunities and threats faced by Changan Corp., advantages and weak points, SWOT Matrix &BCG Matrix being established, the text raised the general strategy of expansion chose by ChanganCorp., building three bases, completing strategic lay-out; changing product structure from past which focus on mini auto to car; strengthening strategic cooperation with Ford Company; developing R&D ability, and puts forward a definite concrete target in stage: production and selling automobiles quantity more than 0.5 million in 2005, sales revenue more than 25 billion RMB; production and selling automobiles quantity more than 1 million in 2010, sales revenue more than 60 billion RMB; production and selling automobiles quantity more than 2-3 million in 2020, sales revenue more than 120 billion RMB.Based on the general strategy, the text prospects developing strategy of enterprise elements to realize target, which are mainly technology improving strategy & programming, Human resource exploitation strategy & programming, marketing developing strategy & programming, investment and funds circulation developing strategy & programming, etc..
