From "village Small" To "central Elementary School.

Consolidated school has another name "the adjustment of the rural school" in the governmental discourse. From the perspective of the different descriptions on the same issue, we can see the difference between the governmental and the non-governmental discourse. In governmental discourse, they use the description of the adjustment of the rural school, which emphasizes the function in the reallocation of the educational resources in rural area and hides the abolishment of the school.In this thesis, the method of the critical discourse analysis is used to analyze the consolidated school from two respects:the discourse constitution about the rural school discourse policy and the discourse practice about it.In particular, the research is done in the three following perspectives:Firstly, we use the method of critical discourse analysis to discover the contradiction and the confliction in these three discourses about this issue. Secondly, through the introduction about the situation of the school adjustment in D town and the research in the legality of the school adjustment in D school, we produce the rethink about the adjustment school policy.In the last part, we reflect the setup between the town and rural areas. The adjustment of the rural school is completed by the way of canceling and centralizing schools.which reflects the modernization of the rural education. To put the town education to the rural area is based on the integration theory, through the critical to this theory and the study about the experience of the rural education in the early20th century, we query the rural school adjustment in the process of the rural education modernization.
