In2001, under the direct leadership of the State Council, Ministry of Education launched a new century basic education curriculum reform, enacted compulsory education curriculum standards of the21subjects (trial version). Pilot the new curriculum of this decade to get a lot of results but also there are some areas for improvement.In this article, through the Central primary school of the Heping District of Tianjin art teaching situation, combined with the curriculum reform of basic education in China Art to the implementation of a decade of experience, analysis of the current situation disadvantages of the current Central Primary School art education, analysis of the factors that cause these defects from several aspects, and put forward recommendations to solve the problem. Also hope to Central Elementary School as a fulcrum to look ahead to the future of art education in primary schools.
