In recent years, China's high school history teaching quality continues. The progress of curriculum theory, for all to see. Fully affirmed the progress at the same time, however, some problems are still difficult,if not attach importance to, may affect the further progress of the further progress of the new curriculum.This paper focuses on the importance of the historical foundation of knowledge. Because basic knowledge is a necessary condition to achieve the quality of the teaching of history; the elements of the teaching of history, the foundation of history education.
