| Children are natural philosophers and positive explorers which seek wisdom actively. As the inquiry program of Lipuman’s philosophy for children has won worldwide popularity, children’s philosophy with its unique discipline image gradually enter into the public scene from the field, becoming more and more recognized by people. However, through information research, the author find that children’s philosophy in our country Taiwan area is influential, but lack in mainland area. Moreover, the study of children’s philosophy mainly focus on the theoretical aspect, such as concept, development, meaning and etc. And the practical attempt is limited to a small number of primary and secondary schools, almost without the involvement of the kindergarten. Therefore, based on the combing and analysis of predecessors’ point of view, this study attempts to use picture books and improved manner of Lipuman’s group inquiry to give young children a try of enlightenment education in philosophy. The full text is divided into five parts.The first part is study preparation, which mainly involves the reason of the selected topic of the paper, literature review in home and abroad, research methods, research objects, research significance and innovation point. The main methods of this research are documentary method, case study and observation method. And the objects are the children of 5-6 years.The second part is theoretical overview. This part illustrates the connotations of the picture book, philosophy, children’s philosophy and the enlightenment education of children’s philosophy, and demonstrates the necessity and possibility of the enlightenment education of children’s philosophy, and the unique value of picture books in it, thinking that adults should conduct the philosophical enlightenment education with children, in order to protect their philosophical nature, develop their philosophical thinking, and help them seek the meaning of life; that young children have inherent natural connection with philosophy, and the questions of children often hit the mystery of the philosophy. Compared with adults, their thoughts are sensitive to philosophy questions.The third part is the design of education activity, which theoretically expounds the target achievements of enlightenment education of children’s philosophy, the choice basis of picture books and the specific teaching steps of group inquiry.The fourth part are the record cut and the analysis of education activity. According to the theory design of the third part and the division of specific areas in philosophy, the author has chosen four picture books, analyzing the theme first, and then making the practice, and doing concrete analysis in terms of every practice results.The fifth part are the summary and suggestions of this study, which include the achievements and problems with reflections, and some suggestions presented to the kindergarten teachers.By improving the way of Lipuman’s inquiry group, this paper makes an attempt to do enlightenment education of philosophy with young children by using picture books, and provides some useful methods for the practice of it, embodying distinct theoretical significance and practice value. |
