Composition teaching is a very important part of Chinese teaching. If compared the teaching of composition to a tall building, then composition teaching in primary school is the foundation of the building. But for the majority of rural primary school teachers, the composition teaching has always been a difficult issue.Aiming at the issue of rural pupil' writing difficulties and rural teachers' teaching difficulties, this thesis take the middle and high grade composition teaching in Wang Gang primary school of Mu Dan District as an example to carry on the research, to achieve the accumulation from the point to surface, hoping to find out the problems in composition teaching of rural primary schools from the practice,to provide a reliable basis for improving composition teaching, and then providing a certain reference value of enriching the composition teaching of rural primary school.The thesis is divided into the following four parts: The introduction part expounds the reason and significance of choosing this topic and the present situation of the rural primary school composition teaching at home and abroad, and also describes the research objects and methods in this thesis. The first part is the survey and results of the middle and high grade composition teaching in the rural primary school: To investigate the factors related to rural primary school composition teach, such as students and teachers, by questionnaire, interview and informal discussion, and also investigate the students' handwriting texts,teachers' checking, students' life background such as the parents' culture level and the present of the stay-at-home children. According to the survey results, the second part analyzes the problems of students, teachers, school, family, society and other aspects of the middle and high grade composition teaching in rural primary schools and the reasons of the problems.The reason can be summarized as the following points: Ignored the principal position of students in writing; Students lack the experience of life; Teachers can't accurately grasp the project goals; Teaching for the purpose of exam oriented Education; Does not pay attention to the child's family education, after school cultural life; Investment in education is not enough. In the third part, according to the analysis results, it is scientific and reasonable to explore the feasible teaching strategies in rural primary school: Insisting on student first, taking Students as entities, starting from the demand and life; Paying attention to the process and practice of students' writing; According to the kids' language development law, accurately grasping the project goal; Paying attention to bring up all abilities related to the students' writing;Loving child and paying attention to the students' freedom of expression; Paying attention to the relationship between the composition teaching and oral communication learning; Improving the professional quality of teachers, to achieve the diversity of students' composition guidance; Paying attention to the rural kids' family education; Based on the rural background, and tapping the rural primary school composition material; Increasing investment in rural education.
