The classroom focused on students is oriented to them. But, the textbook can not fully meet the demands. There are some shortcomings need to be reformed. Therefore, research on the exploration of the teaching materials changing into learning materials on biology of PEP in junior high school.This paper is divided into ten parts: the first part summarizes the origin of the topic, the purpose and the significance of the topic, the research content and its solution of the problem, the research methods and ideas and purposes. The second part studies the current situation and the problems of teaching materials in junior high school in China. The third part is the definition of the concept, the definition of the concept of teaching materials and materials, and analyzes the difference between the two. The fourth part is the study of positioning and basic strategies of learning material on biology. The strategy is defined clearly according to the system theory, cognitive theory, humanism theory and STS, and the designing strategy is clearly according to readability, systematic, scientific, interesting, artistic, practicality, humanity, times, flexibility and diversity. The fifth part is studies literary types and characteristics that students prefer and is suitable for biological content adaptation example, on the prose, poetry, novels, cartoon, picture books are introduced and analyzed, for example. The sixth part studies the main form of receiving and its advantages and difficulties, the introduction of the advantages and difficulties about the self-made learning materials and learning materials we learn. The seventh part is taken as an example of exploration that the flowing tissue——blood is written as learning materials(take integrated, prose and picture books as an example). The eighth part is the feedback and evaluation of biological learning materials. The ninth part shows the changes of students’ performance in the use of biology learning materials. The tenth part expounds the conclusion of the study.On the basis of the study above, the conclusion is: teaching materials become learning material can change the current situation that the textbook is not made the utmost of the teaching materials, to enable students to become the main part of the use of learning material and be conducive to the teachers’ teaching. This research can theoretically enrich the theoretical system of the construction of learning materials in junior high school and practically enhance students’ learning interest and initiative to provide reference for teaching reform.
