The Faculty Incentive can be classified into two categories: monetary incentives and non-monetary incentives. The teachers’ salaries are presently unified payment of wages by the County or District Finance Department and the monetary incentives initiative at school is limited. Under those circumstances, the research on the non-monetary incentives is one of the way to inspire teachers’ enthusiasm and creativity and improve the working efficiency, which can meet teachers’ personal needs such as individual development, self-actualization, etc.The existing research taken from domestic and foreign literatures about teachers’ incentive, one can learn that the most take the college teachers as the analysis object, which explore the teachers’ encouragement through the perspective of school. Taking teacher at S-school in Zhao Qing as an example, supposing the monetary income can meet the basic material needs, one explore project of the non-monetary incentives in terms of the demands of teachers’ professional development and the empirical analysis is demonstrated by questionnaire survey and personal interview.According to the survey, the teacher at S school in Zhao Qing have a strong desire to improve professional knowledge, ability, professionalism and self-development, and especially expect to get some information about technologies tool, new knowledge and teaching skills, simultaneously strengthen educational guidance for the Educational Philosophy, Promotion, Teaching and Research development and Career Planning, etc.The result by survey shows that monetary incentives meet the needs of teachers’ basic life. Assuming the above is postulated, but the impact is not obvious. The non-monetary incentives is effectiveness but still exist certain problem, for example, poor working situation, lack of support and help for teachers’ personal growth, the monotonous incentive policy and neglect of different demands for personal teachers. To satisfy the demand of teacher’s professional development and build high quality teacher troop, the non-monetary incentives policy based on the needs of teacher professional development is proposed, which contains organizational conditions and follows principle, and the five-dimension and thirteen factors surrounding organization environment, training system, working, achievements and individual development.Hoping to provide some reference opinions about teachers’ incentives for S middle school in Zhao Qing and other similar schools.
