Work values as an important integrated indicator of high school teachers' work affects their work ethic and behavior.In this study,Dalian City's high school teachers were set as a study object,using of literature,questionnaire and interview methods to depth analysis Dalian high school teachers' work values characteristic.This study discussed the overall situation of Dalian teachers' work values,and revealed the existent problems and did a systematic analysis of its causes.Then this study put forward reasonable proposals to improve the high school teachers' work values,and enhanced the overall quality of work and the level of Dalian City's high school teachers.The study concluded:1.As general,the Dalian City's high school teachers' work values are positive,and have high recognition of their work.2.There are no significant difference for high school teachers' work values among gender,education level,grades and subjects they taught in general.3.High school teachers in different ages' work values have no significant difference in general.But it presents significant differences in organizational management and career development of these two dimensions.After multiple comparison analysis,the author found the management dimension in teachers' organizations,there are significant differences in the age of 30 years old and 40-50 years old high school teachers' work values;In the career development dimension,there are significant differences between 30-40 years old high school teachers' work values and the other three age groups of teachers' work values.4.High school teachers' work values has no significant difference on the title of this variable.Multiple comparison finds that the title of first level high school teachers and the title of high level high school teachers have significant differences in the benefits of this dimension.5.It showed no remarkable difference in high school teachers' work values in general.But when multiple comparisons was used,we found high school teachers from urban,counties and townships have significant differences in the benefits and career development.6.Whether being a headteacher did nothing significance variety in teachers,work values.However,when sub-dimension was took into consideration,it presented a notable differences in these three sub-dimensionsin:safety,altruistic dedication and physical pleasure.
