In this paper, research methods include literature material method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics method, expert interview and logic analysis. The investigation objects are students with sports and teachers in Guangyuan High School. The current situation of students with sports in Guangyuan High School is studied. The results show that:(1) The version of the sports college entrance examination in 2015 in Sichuan province shows that it attempts to investigate physical quality comprehensively including running, jumping, cast. Special technical inspection pays more attention to more basic techniques and skills.(2) The reason why students with sports talent are trained is that most of them begin to take part in physical training after entering high school. This means the training period is short for them. Moreover, there are more boys in the team. There is a gender imbalance. Lastly, some of the participants come from rural areas. Some of them come from cities. Therefore, psychological and physical differences are significant, but the present sports teachers did not adopt various teaching methods.(3) The time arrangement for training in Guangyuan High School is scientific. The training form is mainly group training. Individual training is rare. However, the training plan is not very reasonable, with a high possibility of wasting time.(4) The age structure of PE teachers in Guangyuan High School is appropriate. However due to the limited professional knowledge, team-leading knowledge, they do not have enough training experience.(5) PE teachers and students do not pay enough attention to the relaxation after sports training. In addition, the means of relaxation is monotonous. As a result, injuries are common, which affects the training effect.(6) The sports venues and equipment facilities at Guangyuan High School can't meet the requirements of training. The school leaders also do not value the importance of sports training. Considering those factors, the training effect is affected to some extent.So suggestions are put forward:(1) to attach great importance to the cultural learning of students with sports talent;(2) to promote the level of teachers;(3) to prevent and avoid sports injury effectively;(4)to gain support form parents;(5) to strengthen the nutrition of students;(6) to guarantee qualified equipment.
