Many research results show that when people study a second language the phonetic errors also have obvious difference because of the students' native language, so the study of the phonetic errors against to native language background can be more effective for the quotidian phonetic teaching.In this article, on the basis of summarizing the predecessors' research, I made a practical study on phonetic errors made by French native speakers. First I compared the similarities and differences between the phonetic of Chinese and French, predict the phonetic errors probably made by French students, and then through reading phonetic test, record listen and distinguish, analyze, summarize student's pronunciation. From that we get the reasons of the errors made by Chinese learner in the French middle school:negative transfer of native language, negative transfer of target language knowledge, teaching factors and individual differences. Finally, some suggestions are put forward according to the conclusion of errors analysis:make clear the importance of pronunciation teaching and Chinese pinyin; focus on the characteristics of French pronunciation, highlight the key points and difficulties, use targeted teaching methods, to carry out effective teaching.I hope this article can be helpful for Chinese teachers to french speaker students, can help them to improve the teaching effect. I also hope this article is helpful for the Chinese phonetic situation of French students.
