Since the 1990 s, with the acceleration of China's industrialization and the rapid growth of urbanization rate, a large number of rural surplus labor flows into cities and towns, and the scale of migration is gradually expanding. Henan province has always been a major province of China's population output. Located in the Central Plains, Henan Province shows a variety of features in space about the outflow of the population. Whether in the economically developed eastern region,or in the resource-rich western region, Henan province has a flexible and abundant objective conditions about the spatial flow of migration.Even though around the country, Henan serves as the representative for the other provinces. Based on the Dynamic monitoring data of the floating population in China in 2014,and the Statistical Yearbook 2015 and other relevant data, this paper has carried on the the spatial distribution of the floating population in Henan Province, such as administrative region, economic region, geographical distribution, urban agglomeration distribution, etc. And to describe the demographic characteristics of the outflow population in terms of gender, age, education level and so on. Then, this paper introduced the concept of entropy to analyze the age and spatial pattern of interprovincial outflows of population on choosing a destination. At last, using the double logarithmic linear model of local choice of Henan provincial population, an analysis is made on the economic factors which influenced the choice of destination. Finally, the main conclusions of the article are summarized, and the existing problems in the research process are discussed.
