History of scientific spirit is a personal independent thinking and empirical analysis based on the realistic mindset and attitude. It opposes repeats ideas, run after shadow and arguments first. It emphasizes on the basis of material. The one who have the scientific spirit can help them confront and work out problems rationally and calmly. This paper discusses how to cultivate the students' scientific spirit in history in middle school in three chapters:Chapter one: Analyses the relationship between the objective position and the scientific spirit cultivation. The objective stance means step over personal emotion and regard issue neutrality. Where there is chronic objective stance, there must be an objective point of view to explain historical figures and materials.This chapter firstly introduces what is the history of the objective position, and put forward some ways to shape the objective stance. And then let the students develop historical objective position through reading historic events and figures.Chapter two: Analysis the relationship between the historical influence and the scientific spirit cultivation. Historical data is the carrier of history study. Historical research cannot be conducted without bearing it. According the material is the concentrated reflection of scientific spirit. So teachers should guide students cultivate historical consciousness: "a material said a word". It is very important to confront and figure out problems reasoningly and scientifically.Chapter three: Analysis the relationship between the thesis writing and the scientific spirit cultivation. Scientific spirit is a kind of thinking mode. Training students write thesis is the best approach to internalize theirs' mindset. During the paper training, students' rigorous expression habit, reasonable logic of thinking and scientific analysis ability can be cultivated.Although improving students' test score can be the core goal, in the long term, It improves students' ability of analyzing and solving problems can help students understand and grasp quintessence and scientific spirit of studying. And it is a breakthrough of examination.
