The Gender Difference In The Expectation Of High Growth In Entrepreneurship During The Early Stage Of Entrepreneurship In China

With China's economic development has entered a new normal, public entrepreneurship, innovation has become the trend of the times, a variety of new industries,new mode, new formats continue to emerge, become one of the highlights of the economic development. In recent years, the rapid expansion of the scale of women's business in China has become one of the countries which have been active in the female business.Women entrepreneurship is regarded as an important way to get rid of poverty, improve women's status, ease employment pressure, and obtain economic development and social progress. However, women in the entrepreneurial process, the difficulties encountered and the cost to pay far greater than men, they are often subject to social discrimination,resistance and family do not understand. How to eliminate inequality, to support women entrepreneurship, has been the attention of governments. Using the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor( GEM) data, the empirical results show that female entrepreneurial growth expectations were significantly lower than that of men.Blinder-Oaxaca decomposition results show that, the endowment effect due to different individual characteristics explain about 20% difference of entrepreneurial high growth between the sexes, and coefficient effect due to suffering from gender discrimination explain approximately 80% difference of the remaining. The detail decomposition results show that, the level of education of women entrepreneurs and lower household wealth significantly reduced levels of women's entrepreneurship high growth expectations.Industrial type which female entrepreneurs engaged in mostly are belong to the micro entrepreneurship, also significantly reduce women's entrepreneurial growth expectations.The majority of the female TEA is involved in necessity early-stage entrepreneurial activity, which significantly reduce women's entrepreneurial growth expectations also.This paper has the following improvements: one based on high-growth entrepreneurs looking perspectives on the low quality of female entrepreneurs, low-level phenomenon.Second, using the difference Oaxaca-Blinder decomposition method, the decompositionindividual characteristics and discriminatory factor in the overall perspective of the gender impact of entrepreneurial high-growth expectations. Then use Yun(2005) studied the details of decomposition individual characteristics and gender discriminatory factors influence entrepreneurial high-growth expectations. Third, gender differences and gender entrepreneurial growth decomposition results were expected significant test, make arguments more strict norms.
