Higher vocational school,as one of the educational branches after the nine-year compulsory education,aims at bringing up high-quality and high-skilled applied talents who can meet the need of the production,management,services.The reason why parents and students choose vocational education instead of basic education is that students can be proficient in some field which will contribute to finding a job.Thus,whether higher vocational graduates can find the right job is not only closely related to survival and development of schools themselves,but also related to the national economic development and social stability.With the much harder situation for higher vocational graduates,it's more and more important to pay attention to the research of the employment policy for higher vocational graduates.This essay manages to start with some concerned definitions and then give an account of the national graduate employment macro-policy from 2002 to 2015 by means of literature study method.Generally speaking,there're “four channels and three measures ” about natural employment policy despite some adjustments every year,which will be il ustrated in Chapter Three.A Wuxi health vocational school,author's workplace is the main objects of the questionnaire survey,the relevant data of which will be analyzed in the fourth chapter in detail.Employment policy is one of specific public polic ies.Therefore,author analyzes the data and contents on the basis of public policy system and policy evaluation theory.The effectiveness of employment policy for higher vocational graduates results from three aspects like policy formulation,policy content and policy implementation.After policy evaluation,effective policy can be continued but,others should be adjusted and even be terminated.The fifth chapter concludes the problems from three aspects put forward above.The five-year higher vocational school after junior school which is the unique Jiangsu mode gets less attention.The author takes advantage of being a teacher in this kind of school and can respect students' opinions.With the help of similar foreign schools,some corresponding suggestions will be put forward in the last part for policy makers to adapt to maximize the effect of employment policy.
