Research On The Status Quo And Countermeasures Of Public Opinion Response Of Local Government Networks

This article adopts the method of the literature research, case analysis and comparative an alysis and other research methods. From general to specific, the article firstly summarizes network public opinion to deal with present situation and the common problems of local government, then taking New District as an example, makes in-depth analysis, combines new network public opinion to deal with the present situation and the existing problems and emphasizes the new network public opinion in dealing with the particularity of this aspect. Based on the analysis and the summary, the problem of dealing with network public opinion also applies to New District. As the issue is universal, in view of the problems and their causes, this article puts forward a series of countermeasures and suggestions consistent with the facts and with strong operations.Although at present the majority of the local government has established the corresponding personnel, early warning, the processing mechanism and a basic understanding of public opinion, there are also some certain limitations such as lack of initiative, lack of profes sionals in dealing with public opinion, delayed response, not enough integration between network propaganda and public opinion etc. After an in-depth analysis of the inadequate response, the causes can be summarized into insufficient government investment, imperfect linkage mechanism, postponed government information publicity, lack of objectiveness in emerging media, lack of initiative in coping with the network public opinion and ina dequate subjective reasons for the transition from traditional media to new media. Therefore, this article puts forward the shift from "passive coping" to "active coping", strengthe ning the network public opinion guidance and management, disclosing government infor mation in a timely manner, such as broadening the channels for public countermeasures and suggestions. Through the above Suggestions, the hope is to,in a certain level, solve the problems existing in the process of local government coping with network public opinion, prompt the government to change the way of management actively, improve the government efficiency and management level and promote the establishment of a faithful government.
