The eighth basic education curriculum reform has been carried out more than ten years in our country, It advocates that students could use inquiry learning in various disciplines, but for how to deeply develop inquiry learning in actual class, there are still doubts and controversies.I studied a term in a middle school as a internship for four months,the school is calling for the curriculum reform and advocating the concept of "cooperative inquiry" teaching.I am influenced by "cooperative inquiry", and I started to explore art inquiry learning during the term. The research aims to improve the efficiency of the fine arts learning. Our country's education aims to cultivate comprehensive development students, in the long run is aim to promote people's lifelong learning,which are based on the foundation of now society.Inquiry learning is a kind of study way, also is one of the goals of education, can makes students learn to learning and want to learn, promote the significance of lifelong education. At the same time, the compulsory education curriculum standard of fine arts emphasis the comprehensive art activities should be strengthened and exploratory. Also, teachers should put forward suitable principle and concept in class so that put students into habit, and constantly try to explore a good teaching method.This paper adopts the research method of combining theory and practice, researching that how to develop inquiry learning in art class. During the study, I first on consult a large amount of information about inquiry learning, learning the relevant J.Piaget's cognitive development theory, Jerome Seymour Bruner's cognitive structure theory, constructivism learning theory and so on. After a comprehensive understanding on inquiry learning, I try to do a explanation on art inquiry learning theory:(1) Recogni-zing art definition and purpose of inquiry learning;(2)Grasping connection in the autonomous learning, the cooperative learning and the inquiry learning;(3)The cultural connotation of art inquiry learning;(4)Under the influence of the post-modernism art inquiry learning.On this basis, I made some practice researches about art inquiry learning.Contents include junior middle school arts teaching design of inquiry, junior middle school arts teaching strategy of inquiry learning and the junior middle school fine arts classroom teaching evaluation of inquiry three parts.In this paper, the vast majority of cases were from my personal practices and learning in class, With the theory in the form of expression. Hope to get some supports and criticisms.
