Since the 18th CPC National Congress, we have adopted a comprehensive plan to deepen reforms in all respects, with education included. Right now the education management system is moving forward in depth. The performance appraisal plan for teachers is one of the important parts in reforming both the education system and the personnel management system. The enthusiasm for teaching holds the key to the quality of education, students, teachers and even the further development of education. For ages, the performance appraisal of secondary school teachers in China has been grade-oriented, measured by graduation rates and other factors. There is no comprehensive evaluation for teaching quality and students'balanced development, seriously affecting the comprehensiveness and objectivity of teaching assessment.Founded in 1925, YXY Middle School has already gone through a remarkable span of 90 years. With the efforts of several generations, this time-honored middle school has upheld the educational philosophy put forward by its founders by committing to both historical inheritance and modern innovation. In addition, it has firmly followed the path of overall education and characterized teaching, thus taking the lead in incentive education, humane management and computer education, winning social acclaim for the school. YXY boasts an A level high school in Zhongshan City. It is a first class school and an A level school in teaching appraisal in Guangdong Province. Recently it has received the re-evaluation of the national demonstrative high school. This paper, based on the educational experience at home and abroad, analyzes the performance assessment system of XYX Middle School and researches the satisfaction degree of the teaching assessment. We have also learned more about problems such as improper timetable, feedback and ambiguous results of the teaching assessment in YXY secondary school by questionnaire. To advance the assessment model, we have put forward advice on the existing assessment methods and developed new methods by applying the 360-degree assessment. In ensuring that the new appraisal can be carried out smoothly, we have developed new measures through the improvement of system security, organizational support, cultural support and more to ensure that the new evaluation model can meet the needs of both the school and the teachers, thus providing an excellent assessment environment and appraisal program and helping lay the foundation for the school's further development.The conclusion of this paper aims to provide references to YXY secondary school in perfecting its teaching evaluation system. It will also improve teaching enthusiasm, teaching stability and performance management levels in other secondary schools and educational administration by providing practical examples.
