The famous musician Beethoven once said:"To teach your kids ’character’, make a person happy is not money, this is my thumb. Tribulation in support of mine is moral; that I never committed suicide in addition to art, is also a moral." Family is the first places of education after children’ birth, family education is various, and the character in the children’family education is the important tasks of life.It is generally believed that preschool stage is important period for children’s development. Especially the parents’ education form, values that will directly affect the future development of children. Research shows that preschool children’s parents for character education there are many misconceptions and problems, analysis of these misunderstandings and problems, to establish a correct concept of character education, cultivating children’s good character has an important significance. Therefore, the author serves the situation of children home character education as the research direction.The research methods used in this study are:the questionnaire survey method, interview method case study method and literature method. The author in the early days of this study, to invest H kindergartens’parents and J kindergartens’parents to collect the basic information of home character education in the form of the questionnaire; then, through interviews, to in-depth understand the parents’attitude to the home character education and their implementation in home character education; finally, to combine the questionnaire survey results and interview records, and supplementing the relevant information by other means to collect, to understand the present situation and problems of home character education based on the rich research data.This research is mainly divided into the following sections:Chapter one is introduction. Mainly to introduce the reason, and the significance of this research.Chapter two is research review. Mainly to define the "character", "character education", "family education" and "family character education" and other related concepts in this research; then to explain and elaborate the related theoretical basis of the study; and to make a simple analysis of the related research, pointing out the shortcomings of the existing research, based on the collection of the related literature data about children’s family education, preschool character education, home character education from domestic and foreign.Chapter three is the design of this research. Mainly to introduce the purpose of research, the specific content of research, the selection of research object, the choice of research method of the research.Chapter four is the status description and analysis of children home character education. Mainly to analysis the present situation of children home character education, it contains these parts:the basic information of the object of research; parents’ understanding of home character education; parents’ understanding of kindergarten character education; parents’understanding of the characteristics of the children’s learning; the content, method and evaluation of home character education; parents’ attitude on children’s character education cooperation; and the influence factors of parents to carry out the home character education.Chapter five is the experiences and problems of preschool children’s character education in family. According to the questionnaire survey and the interview and the case study, the researchers get the conclusion that the family character education mainly has the following experience:1. Pay attention to the precept; 2. Give the child a democratic family atmosphere; 3. Side of beneficial experience to be positive; 4. The use of appreciation education. But at the same time, family character education mainly has the following problems:l.The father’participation in the family is not enough; 2. The first model of the parents; 3. The differences between different educators in the family education methods; 4. Parents constantly instills into compulsory and ignore the effect of teaching; 5.Pre-school children character education is lack of home communication.Chapter six is education advice. For the above problems of home language education, the author put forward the following Suggestions:1.To improve the role of the father’s participation in home character education; 2.To improve the quality of the parents themselves; 3.Establish harmonious family relationships; 4.The role play, arouse children’s interest; 5.Pay attention to the environment to create, improve children’s literacy; 6.Enhance the cooperation between home and kindergarten, to promote children’s character development.
